I was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, but was raised in the Greater Vancouver suburb of Port Coquitlam. PoCo while a nice neighbourhood, wasn’t a very exciting place. Thus I had to find things to occupy my mind, so as to not find myself bored. Writing came naturally to me and I became obsessed with storytelling from a young age. After graduating from secondary school, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and History from Simon Fraser University. While there I wrote numerous articles for SFU’s university newspaper The Peak tackling a variety of subject matter including news, opinions, humor, and arts. After finishing my degree, I embarked upon pursuing my lifelong passion of screenwriting at Vancouver Film School. I finished my time at VFS with a Diploma in Writing for Film & Television, completion of courses involving writing for commercials, comics, games, as well as a number of writing and production credits. I am based out of Vancouver, BC, but am open to moving in the future. In my spare time I enjoy reading comics, collecting albums, playing video games, and hiking through BC’s beautiful natural parks.
